ESSIAL in the EC's Innovation Radar

Good news for ESSIAL: one of the project's innovations has been highlighted in the European Commission's Innovation Radar. This initiative aims at identifying high potential innovations and innovators in EU-funded research and innovation framework programmes such as Horizon 2020. Innovations are classified according to four categories reflecting different levels of maturity based on their market readiness

Exploring: Innovations in the early phases of technological readiness.

Business ready: Innovations for which concrete market-oriented ideas have been put together. 

Tech ready: Innovations that are progressing on the technology development process. 

Market ready: Innovations considered ‘Ready for the market’. 

The Innovation Radar highlights ESSIAL's following innovation: "New customizing method for surface laser treatment of electrical steels" which has been analysed as "Tech ready" and as addressing needs of existing markets in terms of Market Creation Potential. Both ESIEE Amiens and the University of Picardie - Jules Verne were also identified as key innovators. More information here
